Second printer model we made, developed in house and in iteration since has come to support 24 cm diameter heated print surface and 3 mm / 1.75 mm easy switching hot end and extru. Design goals and principles are taken from our own xl delta printer concept.
Since xl model is huge this was developed with portability and print meetups in mind. It features all aluminium and plastic frame with no wood or hard machining needed.
Lots of time was invested in part design with flexibility in mind, total number of parts is somewhat larger than in standard delta printers but stability and rigidity demanded this.
legacy compatibility was achieved using 3% standard parts on key places, meaning one can use rostock, kossel or some other movent parts too just like in xl…
