You will need three base connector parts. These connect bottom wooden horizontal with upper one. Heat bed or print bed if you prefer is safe away from electronics inside box, lcd and switch pad connect to frame. To “raise the hood” one removes three easily available screws by hand and simply raise everything up on support, including hot bed. Look at few images to figure it out. First you need three of these.
Next you will need two of these to hold lcd control module. These stick to alu frame and support our favorite LCD2004 module. This one is bright simple and bug free. I have 13704 version on other printer and that has some SD card issues.
Next we have little front with usb connector, on/off switch and also little voltage monitor i had lying around. It connects to front base connector from above.
And last but not the least we have these custom print bed hold elements. After assembly these are easy raised or lowered while keeping heating wire safely sandwiched between two heat resistant glass circles 3 mm thick and 42 cm in diameter. This is also maximum print radius on mtf.xl model of printer. You will need six of these, add some glued rubber to prevent any sliding and tighten glass.
I advise as much infill as you can since these are all designed small and need all the toughness they have. These were printed using nozzles 0.3 to 0.5 mm diameter with great success.
